A great cinematic image is improved by great cinematic sound.

Capturing sound on location during your production can be daunting if you’re unprepared or haven’t given it as much thought as one tends to give the lighting or lenses or talent.

Let Benjamin Wilbanks be your location sound recordist. He captures your important dialogue and sounds for your narrative, commercial or documentary project.

  • Standard Location Sound Kit -

    The standard location sound kit comes with the most common needs for location sound recording. With this kit sound will be synced with the camera image (23.98/24/25/30/60fps) and recorded separately and delivered on SD card. Director, producers and script supervisor can listen in with provided IFB monitors.

    • Zoom F6 - 32-bit/24-bit location sound recorder.

    • Senal MC-24EL shotgun microphone. (S416)

    • Line Audio CM4 hyper-cardioid microphone.

    • Boom pole & Shotgun mic clamps and mounts.

    • Deity Theos W-Lav wireless body packs (2 lavs)

    • Saramonic K9 wireless body packs (2 lavs)

    • Sennheiser ME2 lavalier microphone elements (wires). (x4)

    • Countrymen B2 lavalier microphone elements (wires) (x2)

    • Deity TC-1 Timecode sync boxes for camera. (x3)

    • Dummy slate

    • IFB/camera hops 2.4G listeners for video village. (headphones provided, but I do encourage you to bring your own preferred headphones if you have some you like)
